Baron “Pay to Play” Hill Exposed
Posted on 26. Oct, 2010 by admin in News
Greg “No Bull” Knott confronted Baron “Pay to Play” HIll in the Jasper debate on giving $625,000 in taxpayer earmarks to clients of his mCapitol Washington lobbying firm. Hill did not attempt to rebut the facts of this unethical conflict of interest during the debate or with the news media afterward. What is Hill’s explanation to voters why Hill’s lobbying clients received the earmarks instead of those who did not Pay to Play? Do they have an explanation to the charges raised here?

The Indiana Daily Student confirmed wrote an investigative article that confirms Schneck Medical received a $390K 2007(FY2008) Hill earmark after his lobbying firm received $30,000 from Schneck in 2006.

Hill’s lobbying fees at mCapitol are listed at the Center for Responsive Politics here:

Hill’s Congressional earmarks for FY2008 are listed at the Center for Responsive Politics here:

It’s a shocking story of what best is an unethical conflict of interest and at worst a thinly veiled bribe. People are equally shocked that this practice remains legal and allowed under House Ethics Rules. If Hill and Young agree that we should put an end to this kind of political favoritism they should join Greg “No Bull” Knott as a signer of the Fight Washington Corruption Pledge:

As part of the pledge, the Lobbying Reform Act would impose a 5 year waiting period before Congressmen and staff went to work for lobbying firms and vice-versa, so that no Congressman or his staff can ever play favorites with your money again…without prison time. See Plank 3 here:
